Hello

My name is Angie Bowen, a longterm citizen of the Mornington Peninsula. Talking it over, with a cup of coffee, is exactly how talkitover had its origins, discussing natural and every day changes that had occurred, how friends coped and how they had come to understand, challenge or accept the changes in their lives.

I discovered my gift as a counsellor when people confided in me, for apparently I was a good listener. As more people found out about my natural abilities and skills I noticed that the experiences in one person's life were often useful as a source of solutions for others. While each person is truly unique, many of life's travails are universal.

Life has been difficult for me personally at times, yet I have been able to rise above crises, possibly due to my outlook, which has often been described by others as enthusiastic. I do have a lifelong appreciation of the people and the world around me.

Together with a strong sense of self, my life experiences to date- as a child, teenager, wife, mother, neighbour, single parent, divorcee, friend, business person and counsellor, I have been well prepared for my true purpose, right here.
